Country of residence
This information allows us to offer you more accurate rates.
In most countries, the minimum age required to hire a vehicle is 25.
Each driver must present a full, valid and original national driver's license held for minimum of 2 years. If your license is not in a language used in your destination country, an International Driver's Permit to accompany your national driver's license is highly recommended. Some rental companies and government agencies require that you present an IDP. It is the renter's responsibility to present both their IDP and Driver's License when picking up the vehicle. For more information, please reach out to the Rental Company.
Each driver must present a valid and original photo ID or passport.
The renter must present a personal credit card, valid in the country of pick-up with enough funds to put a hold for a security deposit. Third-party credit cards will not be accepted. The car rental company is solely responsible for approving the provided credit card. Online prepayment does not exempt the renter from providing a valid international credit card during vehicle pick-up. The rental company will place a hold in the amount of the security deposit and, when applicable, any additional local fees not covered in the prepaid voucher on the card provided at the rental location.
You must present a printout of the Booking Confirmation Voucher at the rental location. This document officially confirms all agreed upon services, payment conditions, rates, discounts, as well as vehicle availability within the group selected.
Car rental companies reserve the right to refuse service to underage or unlicensed drivers, those with poor credit history or individuals otherwise considered liabilities by the rental company.
Atlanta: The Hub of the South
While Atlanta may be one of the biggest hubs for air travel in the world, you might be disappointed if you're expecting to explore the city's culture using mass transit. MARTA trains offer limited access to Atlanta's coolest spots. Your car rental is your gateway to everything the city has to offer from the busy commercial corridor of midtown and downtown traffic to the more remote spots at the fringes of the city.
Experience Atlanta's Beating Heart
Located a mere 11 miles from Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, downtown Atlanta is a perfect launching point for both business and vacation travelers. Take a tour of the busy CNN Center and enjoy a beer and a bite at the expansive food court, and then walk to Philips Arena next door to see the Atlanta Hawks in action. Downtown also offers some of the most stunning views of the skyline in the form of the rotating Sundial Restaurant and the SkyView Ferris wheel.
Catch a Dose of Weirdness
If you want to soak up the local culture, Little Five Points can't be missed. This small neighborhood has a reputation for attracting the city's most irreverent spirits. Situated 3 miles from downtown, the small triangular park in the middle of Little Five Points is heavy with foot traffic, lined with eclectic shops and bars, and rich with local hippies, artists, and street performers.
A Taste for Any Palate
The vibrant blend of cultures that make up Atlanta's DNA is most prominently on display along the stretch of Buford Highway, perfect for exploring with your car rental. A 9-mile trip from downtown will bring you to the start of the road, but you could spend days checking out the string of restaurants and shopping centers along the way. From Vietnamese to Mexican to Indian, every few miles gives way to a new community with their own unique commercial and cultural footprint.
