  • How do I secure my Cashback?

    To earn Cashback, simply rent a car on the Rentcars website. Bookings eligible* to receive Cashback will be flagged with the amount to be credited to your digital wallet. After use and return of the car, the rental company will inform us and confirm of your rental, and the Cashback will be made available for use on your next booking.
    *Rentcars reserves the right to determine if the booking is eligible for the generation and application of the credits.
  • When will I get my Rentcars' Cashback?

    When you confirm a booking on the Rentcars website, your credit will have the status "Pending" on your statement, waiting for the finalisation of your rental and information from the rental company regarding the booking confirmation. This process is the responsibility of the rental company and may take an average of 45 to 120 days for domestic reservations and 120 to 240 days for reservations abroad. Once confirmed by the rental company, your Cashback will be fully available for use on prepaid bookings on the website.
  • How can I use my Rentcars' Cashback?

    Once your Cashback is available on your digital wallet, you can use the credits for new eligible bookings in online payment with Rentcars. When you choose your new booking, the credit will be visible and available to be applied on the payment page. If the value of your booking is higher than the available credits, you will pay the remaining difference between the credit and the rental value. If the value of your booking is lower, the remaining balance will be returned to your digital wallet for future use, respecting the original expiry date of the credit. When applying Rentcars' Cashback as a payment method, discount coupons or other special conditions cannot be used. Discounts are not cumulative.
  • How to track my cashback credit?

    To track the status of your Rentcars' Cashback, just access the statement in your digital wallet.
  • For how long can I use my Cashback credits?

    Your credits can be used up to 12 months after they become available (change status to 'Available') in your digital wallet.
  • If the booking is changed, will the Cashback still be valid?

    Yes. If your booking is changed within the eligible conditions of the Rentcars' Cashback programme, the credit remains, but its value will be updated according to tariff changes and percentage discount rules. In case of cancellation, no show or any other non-use situation and effective payment of the booking, the Cashback will also be cancelled.
  • If I make more than one booking, will I get Cashback from both?

    Yes! If your bookings are eligible for Rentcars' Cashback, you will receive credit from both. Cashback amounts are cumulative on your digital wallet and can be used together on future bookings.
    Cashback credit is not cumulative with discount coupons and other available offers.

    Moreover, if you already have wallet credits available from the Refer and Earn programme or other promotional credits, the value will also be accumulated with the Cashback and can be used on the same future booking.
